Travertine Scratch Removal
This close up shows the scratches imparted from constant sliding of bar stools. After providing a deep cleaning to remove soils and abrasives from the travertine surface, we then used diamond pads for a relatively simple repair for us.
Scratches from bar stools can dull the natural beauty of a stone floor. Depending on how deep the scratches are, will determine the best course of action. We recommend replacing as needed the felt pads under the chairs. This is the best remedy to stop future scratches from bar stools. If you have a chair with angled legs, there are swivels that can be screwed on so the felts don’t tear off when slid around.
