Marble Shower

This home in Orlando had a hard time cleaning her travertine shower floor and ceramic walls. As you can see, a combination of dark foot oils on floor center and white mineral deposits on floor perimeter and walls. Clean Image of Orlando was able to restore and seal to like new.

This Orlando shower with travertine floors had a circular foot oil buildup, as well as soap scum and hard water deposits that were clouding the stones’ natural beauty. Clean Image of Orlando polished the hard water from the walls with a special compund, and used a rotary floor polishing machine to bring the floor back up past factory standards. A travertine sealer was then applied to prolong life.
This marble shower in Winter Park had lost its luster and the grout was turning black and rust colored. We removed the build-up, cleaned the marble and grout, re-polished the marble, and stained and sealed the grout white to the owners liking.
As you can see this marble shower had a lot of mineral deposit build-up that was dulling and clouding its natural beauty.
This marble shower was polished in the past using a process called crystallization, which uses steel wool pads to apply a type of wax to impart a shine on the stone. As you can see from the grout lines, 1 of many disadvantages of this type of polishing is the steel wool pieces can get into the grout lines and cause them to turn orange from rust.
This marble shower in Lake Mary had a lot of mildew, mineral deposits, foot oils, and deep etching from shower cleaners containg acids to clean. Remember most shower cleaning formulations contain acids to remove mineral deposits, Marble is a mineral also, so you cannot use these type of cleaners without damaging. We were able to restore their marble shower to like new.
